Anyway, as always the question with Newt Gingrich is not really running for President — he’s just using the presidential run as a commercial venture.  As evidenced by his announcement that he was exploring the possibility of launching an exploratory commission.

On this note, to be honest, this is the only funny item in the “Newt Gingrich in Front of Stock photos” I can find.

Tim Pawlenty promotes his political book with a campaign style commercial.  A self-parody itself, it deserves a parody.

Sarah Palin has let it be known that should she run for president, she will be adopting Arizona as her campaign center, to avoid Alaska.  Or maybe a Senate bid?  Well, she has the whole state of Arizona aflutter in speculation.
Really, she can’t run.  Because Michele Bachamann … is?  I assume this puts her in the lower tier of presidential aspirants, whose presidential runs are essentially Vanity Projects, righ?

Wait… What?

Cain received some good news this weekend as he won the straw poll at the Tea Party Patriots meeting in Phoenix. Cain edged out the likes of Ron Paul and Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was a distant fourth.

Don’t those things usually belong to Ron Paul?  Paul is slipping.  He’ll be in Trump level before long.  (Trump never did try for that bid for the Reform Party in 2000 — party was falling the hands of supporters of Pat Buchanan at the time, and I guess that was a hard nut to juggle.)
