Cynthia McKinney received more votes than Ron Paul?!
I’m losing faith in Americans. I really am.

Ron Paul was actively not running and was on two states’ ballots — Louisiana and Montana. Montana’s “Constitution” Party slipped him onto the ballot before Ron Paul waved away any camapaign. Also, he had “write-in” status with California, which I think means people who wrote in Ron Paul in that state got that vote tallied.
Cynthia McKinney was actively running and, what you get with a Green Party nomination, was on 32 states’ ballots.
It’s probably not a fair comparison.
