It’s possible that there will be 7 in American history with a Republican and a Democratic black American running in Maryland and a black Democrat running in Tennessee. Then there’s Mississippi, but that candidate is a joke (a semi-Larouchite) running against Trent Lott (who, incidentally, wins about 90% of the white vote and 10% of the black vote for 70% vote totals. Gee… I wonder where his problem with black voters stem from.)

The frightening thing about the continuation of the “Total Information Awareness” program despite Congress nixing it is I distinctly remember Rumsfeld, I think it was, stating to our faces that it would simply be moved over to a different area.
